The one-time Diddy protege takes the title of her EP, Armor On, quite literally.
‘Wild N’ Faith’ meshes two of Richards’ songs (‘Wild N’ Young’ and ‘Faith’) off her Armor On EP, focusing on her most populist instincts: electro builds and soaring R&B vocals.
Director ELY goes for a gladiator-meets-shogun (with a hint of cyberpunk) feel on his video for the song(s). Richard dances and vamps her way through the clip, which has as many choreographed dance sequences as it does Wolverine/Lady Deathstrike-style claws.
The former Danity Kane and DiddyDirty Money vocalist will release her debut solo LP GoldenHeart on October 16.
