Animal Collective perform acoustic versions of two Centipede Hz songs

Stream an Animal Collective session recorded for Seattle’s KEXP.

Recorded at the Cutting Room Studios in New York, the psychedelic experimentalists played acoustic versions of Centipede Hz tracks ‘Wide Eyed’ and ‘Pulleys’ (with the dissonant ambience and feedback of the originals, however). They also played non-album track ‘Honeycomb’ electrically and interviewed with DJ El Toro.

Stream the session below, recorded in June. Take this opportunity to read John Calvert’s review of Centipede Hz.
