The Outer Church – regular Brighton showcase of the eerie, the eldritch and the eccentric – takes over the Green Door Store venue for the last time this year tonight, Monday 17 December.

Headlining are Paper Dollhouse, originally the solo project of Londoner Astrud Steehouder (pictured), recently expanded to a two-piece with the addition of Nina Bosnic. Their mellifluous, gently mind-scrambling brand of drone-folk has led to releases on Finders Keepers, Devon Folklore Tapes and more.

Also appearing: Dublin’s Angkorwat and rural psychedelicist Embla Quickbeam. Tickets are just £5 and available here.
