Relentless seeks aspiring DJs and unsigned bands as part of the Here to Be Heard campaign

This Summer, Relentless Energy Drink will give one unsigned band and one aspiring DJ the opportunity to perform at their stage on Leeds Festival 2013 or Relentless Live in London.

It’s part of a campaign called Here to be Heard, and the winners will be chosen by a judging panel that includes Professor Green, Pure Love and Bizarre editor / XFM jock Gordon Smart. Radio 1 DJ and Relentless artist Zane Lowe will act as a competition mentor, offering tips and advice on how to impress the judges. When the winners have been picked, the band will perform for half an hour at Relentless Live, a London gig headlined by Professor Green, Zane Lowe and Pure Love on October 19, while the DJ will get an hour slot at the Relentless Stage at Leeds on August 24.

To enter, DJs should submit a 10-minute mini-mix (five tracks minimum), accompanied by a photograph and DJ bio to, by August 5. Bands, meanwhile, should submit one original track with an accompanying video or live performance footage, plus a photo and bio to by August 9.
