Premiere: Nashville newcomers BASECAMP debut seductive 'Emmanuel'

The new trio explores electronic R&B in the vein of SBTRKT and Sampha.

BASECAMP is comprised of producers Aaron Miller, Aaron C. Harmon, and Jordan Reyes. While the group is green (having launched earlier this year), their chops are not.

First glimpse ‘Emmanuel’ is a mature, seductive bit of R&B-infused dance music that fuses twinkling, glitchy percussion with baritone vocals: think SBTRKT and Sampha’s collaborations on the former’s self-titled album. Listen to ‘Emmanuel’ below. A four-track, self-titled debut EP is due out soon.
