One of the great Chicago House double acts return to vinyl for the first time in two years.

Chiwax is an offshoot of Berlin’s Rawax imprint, dedicated to releases born in – or raised in tribute to – The Windy City. Previous releases have come from Robert Armani, Perseus Traxx and Suburban Boyz, and this month’s repress of Gemini’s In Neutral has just been named one of October’s finest reissues.

Next up on their books is a five-track EP of new material from Chicago duo Virgo Four (né Virgo). Classic house heads will already know them well: their 1989 LP Virgo is one of the most gorgeous house full-lengths ever committed to wax (something borne out in our 100 best albums of the 1980s list), and their 2011 follow-up for Rush Hour pulled together unheard material from 1984-1990. E-Series Part One will collect five previously unheard tracks, and more releases are set to follow down the line.

E-Series Part One is due soon. Virgo track ‘Going Thru Life’ is below.

1. Just Let Me
2. Ohah
3. Superbass
4. 1986
5. Let Me Touch Your Soul
