Predictably, most of the talk surrounding tonight’s MTV EMAs (Europe Music Awards) has centered around Miley Cyrus, who stole the show at the VMAs with that ‘We Can’t Stop’ performance in August.
Well, Cyrus’s performance at the EMAs wasn’t quite the car crash that the VMAs was, but it was still kind of a mess. After posting a selfie of herself in the shower (see below) and turning up to greet press in a dress tributing Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. (again, see below), Miley opened the EMAs with a performances of ‘We Can’t Stop’, not with Robin Thicke this time but with a vertically challenged friend dressed up as an alien instead. As you could have probably guessed, Miley and her co-performer slapped each other’s behinds a bit before greeting a whole cast of space-age prop people for the song’s climax.
Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, when picking up the best video award for ‘Wrecking Ball’, Cyrus lit up a joint.
