Damaged techno operators Perc and Truss return with the crushing new four-tracker Two Hundred.

It’s not the first time the two UK producers have bashed heads – last year’s churning Spiker EP was a gruesome example of the duo’s combined force – and from the sound of this new collaboration they haven’t lost any of the grit and grime.

No doubt this was due to the no-frills recording technique, which found the duo working against the grain using all analogue gear and recording in one take. Leaving in “all mistakes, happy accidents, and bizarre, inexplicable audio artifacts,” Perc and Truss rustled together a slew of recordings that buck the trend of over-produced perfection.

You can hear clips of each of the tracks below, and it’s due to appear on Perc’s very own Perc Trax imprint on July 7.
