Holly Herndon previews RVNG Intl release with interactive website

The innovative artist returns to RVNG.

We’re not totally onboard with interactive websites, but if there’s one artist we’ll give a pass to, it’s Holly Herndon. As widely documented, Herndon’s relationship with her laptop is a key component of her art, so patchwork animations and choose-your-own-adventure hyperlinks seem par for the course.

Head over to the website to get a taste of Call; the site is credited to Herndon, Metahaven and frequent collaborator Matthew Dryhurst. Call follows Movement and Chorus via experimental stronghold RVNG Intl — more details as we have them.

Earlier this year, FACT TV met with Holly Hernon at Mutek about art in academia, collaboration and the possibilities granted from access to information.
