Kendrick Lamar‘s long-awaited follow-up to Good Kid, M.A.A.D City could be arriving sooner than expected.

If reports from the Pulse Music board are to be trusted, Interscope Records-run website PlayIGA accidentally leaked details of Lamar’s new single, which is entitled ‘(i) (love myself)’ and is set to drop on Tuesday September 23 at 8am ET.

This would be the first taster of Lamar’s follow-up to the massively acclaimed Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, a record that managed to garner almost universal praise when it dropped back in 2012. Over the last year Lamar has been relatively quiet, appearing recently with Flying Lotus and hinting that more material may be in the works, but keeping relatively tight-lipped about his own delicate second album. Update: Complex has shared what they purport to be single artwork, which suggests that the song’s title is simply ‘i’.
