Good news, bad news.
Miguel will release the follow-up to 2012’s Kaleidoscope Dream, an album titled Wildheart, on June 30. The first single is ‘Coffee’, a song originally released as part of a surprise EP last December that now features Wale; stream it below.
However, the R&B singer is not just focused on music: he is finally being sued for that leg drop incident at the 2013 Billboard Awards, when a misjudged jump landed him on top of audience members. TMZ reports that Cindy Tsai is suing Miguel and the MGM Grand Hotel for negligence and is seeking damages to cover medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering. Fan Khyati Shah, who seemed to take the brunt of the landing, has not sued Miguel, despite claims that she suffered brain damage.
Earlier this year, Miguel was in talks to star in musical produced by John Legend that would be helmed by music video director Nabil.
