Kanye and Vic Mensa put on a surprise performance for a group of Chicago high school students.
Kanye West has been making rounds in his hometown of Chicago this week, giving an impromptu performance at a Bulls game and picking up an honorary doctorate from the city’s Art Instutute. West made yet another public appearance earlier tonight, popping up at Chance The Rapper’s Open Mike night at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
The event was organised in memory of the late YOUmedia coordinator Brother Mike, who was instrumental in developing the careers of Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa. The latter joined Kanye for the surprise set, which included renditions of ‘All Day’ and ‘U Mad’.
