is trying to attract users back with a fresh look

It’s probably fair to say none of us use quite as much as we once did.

There was a time where a lot of music fans tracked their tunes on the service, but with stiff competition from Spotify and a host of others providing us with music recommendations, its relevance has dwindled in recent years. Now the company is trying to attract users back with a site overhaul.

According to’s Nick Calafato, the site is “busy totally re-platforming and re-designing from top to bottom.” The changes include a new home page where you can view all your tracks, albums, artists and events in one location and a new playbar, which lets you hear music from multiple sources.

Paying subscribers have already seen the changes, while an beta was opened to the public last week. There’s no word yet on when the changes will be fully rolled out. You can sign up for the beta at now, providing you can remember your login details. [via The Next Web] is trying to attract users back with a fresh look
