RemoFinger uses its own technology to turn your foot into a third hand.

Controlling touchscreen effects has previously meant using MIDI controllers, but a new product called RemoFinger uses a foot controller and attachment called “Touch Press” to reproduce finger tapping motion.

The Touch Press is connected to four pedals on the controller, and can be positioned anywhere on your tablet, meaning it’s compatible with Android and iOS devices.

As well as controlling virtual effects pedals in Garageband, the RemoFinger can be used to control looping software, start and stop recording, or even turn pages of a notation.

The device is currently taking pre-orders on Kickstarter, where it’s already raised $15,000 of its £30,000 target. Check it out in the video below. [via Electronic Beats]
