The two rap giants confirm joint album.

Following rumours earlier this week of a collaborative mixtape between Drake and Future, details have now emerged that an album will be released tonight, September 20.

Titled What A Time To Be Alive, it was confirmed by Drake on Instagram yesterday when the Toronto rapper shared its artwork – a close up shots of diamonds (apparently found in a stock image library). Future for his part shared a short video of the two rappers in the studio, from the same session as the leaked photo from earlier this week.

The album will be premiered on the OVOSOUND Radio show on Beats 1 at 6pm EST on Sunday and be made available on iTunes and Apple Music subsequently.

This morning Drake took to Twitter to announce that the episode of OVOSOUND Radio would be “mawd tings.”

What A Time To Be Alive follows from Drake’s featuring on Future’s DS2 album earlier this year and their time on the road in the spring for Drake’s Jungle Tour. [via Rolling Stone]
