Korg appears to have a new four-voice synth on the way.
As Synthtopia notes, images and details of the synth leaked online on Friday (January 8) via several sources, each of which show a four-voice polyphonic analog keyboard synth with extensive physical controls.
Korg hasn’t made any official announcements about the new synth, but it’s expected to be launched officially at the forthcoming NAMM trade show, which takes place later this month in California.
An Instagram video posted by Synthjam also appears to show the keyboard’s oscilloscope in action.
If true, the Minilogue is something of a change of direction for Korg, whose recent focus has been on tiny synths like the Volca range and reissues of classic hardware like the MS-20 and ARP Odyssey.
Expect official confirmation of the Korg Minilogue when NAMM hits across January 21-24.
