Ableton schedules another three-day programme of talks and performances for November.

Ableton has announced a second edition of Loop, the Berlin-based tech company’s summit for music-makers.

Launched last year, Loop offered producers and coders alike the opportunity to attend talks and performances hosted by artists such as Holly Herndon and Matthew Herbert alongside hands-on workshops and studio sessions.

Returning to the German capital for 2016, this year’s event takes place from November 4-6, moving to Funkhaus Berlin, a former broadcasting and recording facility in the east of the city.

Loop will once again be divided into day and night programmes, with shows taking place across the city. The full programme will not be announced until July, but last year artists including Lorenzo Senni, Aïsha Devi and James Holden performed.

The event is open to anyone, but prospective attendees will have to register for a chance to buy a ticket. The process will begin on May 18 at the Loop website.

As well as hosting talks, workshops and performances, Ableton also used last year’s Loop as an opportunity to launch its new Push controller and Link technology. You can watch last year’s keynote with Robert Henke below.
